Oklahoma FTC Robotics State Championship

Press Release Oklahoma FTC Robotics State Championship:

The 2011-2012 FTC Oklahoma Robotics season came to a close Saturday March 3, 2012 on the campus of Southwestern Oklahoma State University. 48 teams started the season on September 10, 2011 and progressed through three qualifiers to get an invitation to come to the State Championship at SWOSU on March 3^rd. 26 teams arrived on campus this last weekend to participate in this championship where they were judged by 14 Engineers and Scientists on their robotic design, team skills, community outreach, and team spirit. During the day on Saturday these teams competed on the playing field to arrive at a winner of the competition.

Two teams above will be invited to the World Championship in St. Louis on April 25-28, 2012. At the World Championship 124 teams from around the country will compete. They represent around 2,400 teams who started this season on September 10, 2011. This is a very big achievement for these teams. The teams from the Oklahoma Regional are:
